Writing Yehova's Name

Exodus 3:13-15

13 Then said Moses to Elohim, "Suppose I come to the children of Israel and say to them, 'The God (Elohei) of your fathers has sent me to you,' and they say to me, 'What is His name?' What should I tell them?".

14 And said Elohim to Moses, "Eyeh Asher Eyeh' ('I am who I am'). Thus shall you say to the Children of Israel, Eyeh has sent me to you". 

15 And Elohim also said to Moses, "Thus shall you say to the Children of Israel, 'Yehova God (Elohei) of your fathers, the God (Elohei) of Abraham, the God (Elohei) of Isaac and the God (Elohei) of Jacob has sent me to you'. This is My name forever and this is my memorial to all generations".

The writing of Yehova's name is a religious question in itself. I currently believe that, when all is put together, we should write the name as 'Yehova', without a hyphen. 

The hyphen was a feature developed by the Pharisees; a reflection of their deep reverence for Yehova's name. However, I believe we should not add to, or subtract from, the law. If Torah does not say to write Yehova's name with a hyphen, I don't think we should do it.

Despite a further Pharisaic tradition suggesting we should replace the name of Yehova with the title 'God' (it ends up being 'G-d'), I recently discovered this was only due to political suppression in ancient times by the Hellenists, who forbade the Israelites from saying the name 'Yehova' out loud in the Temple.
